URBAN

Root has been involved in the development of Urban infill since it’s inception, working throughout the Denver Metro area.  How the urban home is re-imaged and what is important to the new urban dweller is at the heart of Root’s approach to designing in this context.  There are numerous benefits to urban infill development and creating livable communities in our cities.  For starters, it’s great for the planet. It is also great for the city, as it revitalizes areas, not only cosmetically, but economically.  City hubs that may have otherwise been desolate or abandoned can enjoy new life. When designed well, these urban areas become safer and more walkable. This in-turn, raises property values, attracts new businesses, creates a desirable place to live and generally improves the vibe of the city as a whole.
